Meet Pastor Dana Trahan

Rev. Dana A. Trahan  is a native of Gray, LA (Terrebonne Parish). He surrendered his life to Jesus at the age of 10, where he was baptized at Eaglewright Baptist Church.  Dana has been married to his loving wife Zanetta Jones Trahan for 28 years. They have an adult daughter, Elizabeth Danielle Trahan who is a licensed Esthetician and soon to be licensed Real Estate Agent.  Dana received his Bachelor’s degree from Nicholls State University, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Shorter University, and a Master’s in Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dana has had a diverse career spanning multiple industries, Web Hosting Executive, Tech Support Manager, and Private School Administrator.  He served as a Children’s Minister at the former Florida Boulevard Baptist Church (Currently Renew Church) , Preaching/Teaching Elder at Walker Community Ministries (Currently Wholly Ground Church), and Senior Pastor at One Life Baptist Church. He currently serves as a Clinical Chaplain Resident at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.

Dana has been active in National, State and Associational work.  He served on the Louisiana Baptist State VBS training team, Development team for Children’s Evangelism Conference, Eastern Louisiana Baptist Association (ELBA) Vice-Moderator and Pastors Conference President.  He is currently a North American Mission Board (NAMB) endorsed chaplain

Zanetta has been a college instructor and secondary teacher for 26 years.. She has taught at the historic Morehouse College, Georgia State University, Bethany College and NOBTS extension at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women (LCIW). Zanetta has also taught at local private schools, Hosanna Christian Life Academy and The Church Academy Baton Rouge. She is currently a History teacher at Helix Mentorship Academy.
